Our most comprehensive standard package. This option combines the detail of the Block Map and adds a 60-minute site visit to help you digest and interpret the information we've provided. The site visit will include a general explanation of the report, a property survey to discuss areas of concern and offer insight, and options to visit other key flood-relevant features that may be of interest. This option adds value by providing access to one of our experts to help with interpretation and share additional data (e.g., digital maps on our laptops) to help you understand your potential flood risk. Great for the detail-oriented client who seeks an in depth understanding. We find this service is most popular among home owners who are in their forever homes and want to increase their knowledge about potential flood risk. Flood Awareness Reports are currently available for the 1-in-50 year precipitation event for properties available via the drop down menus below. For a map of available properties, please visit our Flood Map page.
Our primary reference system is based on Roll Numbers (e.g., as shown on a property tax statement). Since many people don't have that handy, our form should auto-fill as you start typing your address (## street name) and will show the Neighbourhood (see here for Winnipeg), Market Region, (see here for Winnipeg), Municipality, Province, and Roll Number. And if that fails, please simply type out your property address details in the Notes field and leave the other field blank. If your property is located within the domain shown here, we have it.
