Radon is invisible and odourless, but special sensors are used to detect its presence.
Typically, we measure radon in the lowest occupied area of a home for a duration of several months.
But occasionally a shorter term test can be helpful in screening for radon issues or validating that a
mitigation system is working as intended.
Radon Mitigation
If Radon levels exceed guidelines, we can help homeowners mitigate the problem. One option is to install
a fan that vents radon from below the basement floor to the outside. Installation costs vary case by case,
but we’d be happy to provide you with a free estimate.
Support Services
We praise the DIYers of the world and are proud to offer installation support services. We can provide
consultation and guidance at a fraction of the installation cost. That way you get expert advice and save
money on labour. We also sell some of the specialty parts you’ll need for your installation. See our Shop Page
for more information.
Awareness
Health Canada and other organizations have done a great job increasing awareness about Radon risks and how
to keep your family safe. We are proud to publish our own data and create in-house materials to increase
awareness and get the message out.
